A typical day.
The schedule is full, the sedarim are real, and there's time built in for the outdoors. A representative day:

Tuition & deposit.
Tuition is set each year and a non-refundable deposit accompanies the application to hold your place. Current tuition and deposit amounts — along with the option to pay online — are on the application: jewishadk.com/apply.
Checks are payable to Congregation Yeshivas Lubavitch and mailed to 60 Campus Dr, Star Lake, NY 13690.

- Sefer chassidus for the morning seder
- Gemara (Maseches Makkos) and any meforshim you learn with
- Sefer chassidus for the evening seder
- Pen and notebook
Clothing & gear
- Yeshivishe dress — modest, neat, weather-appropriate
- Swimwear and sneakers for sports & the lake
- Rain layer (Adirondack weather is what it is)
What stays home
- Newspapers, secular books, non-Jewish music
- Smart devices with open internet — phones may be entrusted to the hanhala for the summer
- A public phone is available on campus
Getting here.
Star Lake is in the western Adirondacks. Most talmidim come via:
- Crown Heights bus — the yeshiva runs a bus from Crown Heights at the start and end of each summer. Reserve a seat at jewishadk.com/apply/bus (current fare and dates are listed there).
- Greyhound to Gouverneur, NY — ~35 minutes from campus
- Ogdensburg International Airport (OGS) — ~1 hour
- Adirondack Regional Airport (SLK) — ~1 hr 10 min
- Watertown International Airport (ART) — ~1 hr 15 min
Transportation to and from Star Lake is not included in tuition. Reach out for current pickup logistics.
Medical & insurance.
Insurance verification is required at intake; out-of-state non-emergency coverage is strongly recommended. The yeshiva is not financially responsible for medical care.
Accommodations & roommates.
Dorm rooms on campus. You can request a roommate preference on the application and we do our best to honor it.
